OUR TRAINING DIVISION

We provide structured leadership, team building and creativity training to individuals and businesses. We conduct both indoor and outdoor group dynamics based on the needs and requirements of the client. We can also provide training at the premise of the clients or a combination package (indoor and outdoor) if needed.

INDOOR GROUP DYNAMICS: CREATIVE LEADERSHIP

Our unique indoor group dynamics over two days focus on hands-on programs designed to ensure that participants will discover and master varying degrees of linear creative thinking skills; decision-making skills; and pre-planning skills.

OUTDOOR GROUP DYNAMICS: TEAM BUILDING++

TEAM BUILDING++ is a series of structured outdoor-based activities over three days in the heart of the Endau Rompin National Park as we believe that in the jungle you will see the true colours of the participants. Our facilitators will guide the participants to discover varying degrees of linear creative thinking skills; communication; assertiveness; responsiveness; emotional ability; leadership; spatial orientation; focus and concentration; tolerance and perseverance; impulsivity vs. thoughtfulness; self-confidence vs. insecurity; introversion vs. extraversion; and risk-taking vs. caution. . . . .

INDOOR AND OUTDOOR GROUP DYNAMICS

AFAP Network offers a unique five-day program based on a combination of indoor and outdoor activities incorporating experiential learning programme including:

  •     Imagineering workshops
  •     Innovative team building activities
  •     Leadership role play
  •     Spiritual sessions
  •     Aerobicise
  •     Jungle trekking and survival skills
  •     Debriefing and lessons learnt

OUR APPROACH

Multiple approaches in conducting CREATIVE LEADERSHIP and TEAM BUILDING++ will be deployed to achieve group dynamics. This will include lectures, simulation, movie review, games, discussions and self-reflections. Participants will be challenged to achieve their true potential based on carefully designed and intellectually stimulating activities. For CREATIVE LEADERSHIP and TEAM BUILDING++ to be a success, participants are required to possess mental and emotional strengths as well as a willingness to learn and unlearn.

OUR CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT DIVISION

ACCETSE 2014 BATAM, INDONESIAThe conference management division started off in 2013. The year 2014 marks a new chapter in our business activity with the creation of a dedicated team for conference management starting with the AFAP Conference on Current Emerging Technology, Science and Engineering (ACCETSE 2014) in 8th March, to be followed by the 2014 AFAP Conference on Current and Emerging Issues in Learning and Instruction (ACCEILI 2014) in September and the 2014 AFAP Conference on Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management (ACESBM 2014) in November. We aim to be a loose coalition of academics, students and practitioners with a dedicated mission to organize affordable but quality conferences in Asian countries. Our observation on trends of conferences organized worldwide indicated that a lot of money and time is spent and wasted for unnecessary activities such as reception, “irrelevant guest speakers”, opening ceremonies, keynote address by ministers/politicians and lavish food. Towards the end, the actual objective of propagating new body of knowledge based on research findings becomes the secondary issue of the conference. As such, we are proposing a low-cost “no-frills” approach in running conferences with our global partners. Towards the end, part of profits (if any) will be distributed to needy postgraduate students as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility. Our mission is to create a network for academics and practitioners to share their research experience. We hope to continue to serve you by organizing quality and value added conferences in the future.
